rm, du, chmod, chown, chgrp: use much less memory for large directories

* tests/rm/4-million-entry-dir: New test.
* tests/Makefile.am (TESTS): Add it.
* NEWS (Bug fixes): Mention it.
* gnulib: Update to latest to get the required fts fixes.
